More Digital love..Universal Audio!
Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 09:53AM My favorite compressors and plug-ins are all wonderfully baked and frosted in the divine factory that is Universal Audio. From the "Ocean Way" (Named after UA founder Bill Putnam's Hollywood Studio)setting on the UAD Fairchild Compressor to the silky, "maple syrup on a Sunday morning" sweetness of the LA 610, my album, Pilfershire Lane exclusively featured Universal Audio products. Try the Roland-licensed UAD Powered Plug-Ins! The Space Echo is pretty sweet.

Heeyy...I know that guy! :D
SPL TD is fun on vocals, it's a little weird at times as some of the settings can cause vocals to suddenly be extremely loud; but it's a fun effect. I prefer lowering the attack and raising release to "bring up room sound" like Joseph mentioned.
Seems it could be fun to use as more of an effect - i wonder- What Would Joe Meek Do ?!
hey wait -
WWJMD instead of WWJD......
