Earth Shattering Indeed!! Tara Breaks Glass with Her Voice...

As this unlucky little wine glass wasn't serving any purpose being empty, we made the unanimous decision to shatter it. via tarabusch on YouTube:

Here's more via my YouTube site regarding the making of!! Enjoy.

"...Here's a lovely clip of musician/writer/producer Tara Busch shattering a wine glass with her bare voice! Filmed by Maf Lewis.

"How does this happen?" you may ask?

The tone that the glass makes when you lightly strike it is its natural frequency. If you then sing a note that is at that EXACT same pitch, the glass will vibrate as well. If the tone you make is loud and perfectly on pitch, the vibration will cause the glass to flex more than the strength of the glass can withstand and the glass will shatter!".
