Free Mp3 Monday Week 5 - Major Tom 40 Years on!

Before we commence with the Free Mp3 Monday festivities, quite simply, here's the link where you can download the new commemorative version of David Bowie's "Space Oddity" ( as read on SonicState.com a few weeks ago). Released to in celebration of the Apollo 11 moon landing, are remixable stems of the aformentinoned and incompirable classic. I, for one, wil be sinking my teeth in if I can get my USA iTunes account to comply...more news to come! Did you get your stems?

I for one can say...this song changed my life forever when I heard it as a toddler....

Back on Earth, here are 13 tracks I have to popped up for you this week...if you're new to the festivities, look to this post for the lo-down on Free Mp3 Monday.

Also, visit my Free Mp3 Monday Group on the increasingly marvelous Soundcloud.com to hear all of the wonderful submissiions that are sent my way !!

In fact, to start out FreeMp3 Monday, here are delights quite fit for a lush, dreamy walk on the moon - the sounds of Throbbing Gristle and Carter- Tutti's Chris Carter and The Simon Sound's  Simon James:

Next, here's this track by Rex Kwondo, 'Touch Ya'. It features my former bandmate from Dynamo Dresden, producer & multi-multi -multi instrumentalist, Rohan Tarry. The recipe is "Featuring the PV synth slaved off a Super Basstation, Roland JX3P along with rhodes and a host of cheeky vinyl snippets"! Hear:

Since I previously mentioned Dynamo Dresden (my band in the UK consisting of Rex Kwondo's Rohan Tarry and Maf & I) , let's take a visual sip - here's the video for 'Playtime' (lemme know if you want a free mp3 of this song...) :

     And onward with lovely AudioBooTH:

And to close, here's my rather creepy , Cabinessence (any Beach Boys geeks out there?) inspired version of 'You're So Good To Me'....And let us wish you - Happy "Moon-day!" Youre So Good To Me (Beach Boys Cover, Demo Version) by TaraBusch
