Movie Time! "Krautrock: The Rebirth of Germany"...

Greetings! I have long since wanted to watch this beautiful documentary that was shown last year on BBC 4 - "Krautrock - The Rebirth of Germany". Now thanks to kukkaisrinsessa 's YouTube Channel, we can watch on this fine, gentle drizzly Cardiff morning.

Above - Klaus Schultze in 1976 with his army of machines to die for. (photo from KlausSchultze.com). He's featured in part 3.

Here are parts One through three...have a watch with me and let me know what you think - do you have links to more? I feel I may have to delve deeper into this beautiful breed of sonic sweetness for my own well- being. Enjoy:

I really enjoyed. Especially part 2 with the cuts off of "Phaedra" from Tangerine Dream. One of my all time faves!!!! History, electronics, experimental music. What more goodness can one ask for?

It's really informative and beautoful, isnt it? Shame the audio gets cut off on part 6 just as we're getting into Harmonia...grr!!!

Anyway though, really loving this music and the history behind it is incredible.
