Laura Escudé's Ableton Live Masterclass! Be There, Angelenos...
Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 05:03AM Laura Escudé, Ableton master, musician, composer and sound designer is bringing her brilliance to an Ableton Live Master Class this weekend!

Laura is director of Electronic Creatives and has worked with Cirque du Soleil as an Ableton programmer, toured Europe with acclaimed world music band Niyaz and was a tour consultant for Kayne West. Have a peek at the flyer; visit this site to sign up:

According to Electronic Creatives, "We are featuring Ableton Certified Trainer Laura Escudé, Producer/Performer Henry Strange and Andrew Pask from Cycling ‘74 presenting an introduction to Max for Live. The amount of knowledge that will be dropped is unparalleled!" Sounds great, eh?
Here's Laura performing at NAMM 2010:
I highly recommend this class, if I was still in LA I'd be there with bells on (not the DX 7 kind, mind you...)!
I personally have just finally hatched out of the Ableton egg myself and am very excited to learn more about this groundbreaking software that is reknowned to be as smooth as a banana milkshake.

Above: Tara's 1st adventure with the APC 40, borrowed from a friend. Has anyone tried the APC 20?
Anyway - those of you in LA - go to Laura's class! Those of you not in LA, keep your eyes peeled for her classes around the globe....come to Wales, Laura!

So cool to see you post this. I wish the audio in the vid was better. I am a Laura student, and vouch for her being not only an excellent musician and teacher, but an all around kick ass quality person. She will not want anyone in her class to go away without a question unanswered. She is patient and very sincere about wanting to teach folks that want to lean how to use Ableton Live and the APC-40. Seeing that she will be doing this class with Cycling '74 with the new MAX for Live is killer! Max for Live looks to be fantastic. Only limits seem to be imagination with this marriage. Have you worked with Laura, Tara? If so I'd love to know more!
